Traditional Hungarian breakfast

Before the cooking class, you will be served a light, traditional Hungarian breakfast, including fresh pastries, cold dishes and homemade sauces. The breakfast is designed to give you energy before cooking, but it is not an unlimited buffet, but a small taste of the breakfast classics of Hungarian cuisine.

What we will cook

During the cooking course we will prepare an authentic Hungarian menu, combining traditional flavours with modern techniques. The first course is the legendary goulash soup, one of the most famous dishes of Hungarian cuisine with its rich seasoning and slow-cooked meat. This is followed by the chicken paprikash with noodles and cucumber salad, a true classic with its creamy paprika sauce and freshly made noodles. The main course also includes casserole potatoes with pear compote, a reimagined version of a well-known Hungarian dish. And we won't forget the sweet dishes: we'll be making poppy seed guba soufflé with plum sauce, a traditional dessert in a lighter yet richer form. Finally, we serve a pasta with grits and peach jam, a dish reminiscent of childhood. The dishes are accompanied by a carefully paired glass of Hungarian wine to complete the gastronomic experience.

Good to know

At the end of the cooking course, the prepared food will be eaten on the spot, so all participants will have a full gastronomic experience - takeaway is not possible. The course is limited to a maximum of 8 participants, so book early to make sure you are part of this unique experience. Please note that gates open at the start of the course and we are unable to let participants in before then, so please arrive on time.
