
Gastro Kids Camp 2.0 (ENG)

The TABLE Budapest kids’ camp is not a typical summer program – it’s a true culinary adventure where children don’t just learn how to cook, but also make new friends, play, laugh, and explore some of the world’s most exciting cuisines in just one week. 🍽️💛
Mornings are dedicated to themed cooking classes (Spanish tapas, Italian pasta, Vietnamese classics, fine dining potato techniques, and brunch favorites). After cooking, we enjoy lunch together, followed by engaging afternoon experience programs. 🎯🎬⛳️
The highlight of the camp is a special closing dinner evening, where the children prepare a real “mini fine dining” menu – with both meat and vegetarian options available. ✨🍽️

Monday 🇪🇸
Morning: Spanish tapas – padrón peppers, patatas bravas, albóndigas, gambas pil-pil, croquetas de jamón, watermelon gazpacho, chistorra with green apple, “sangria” 🍤🥔🍅
Afternoon: Getting-to-know-each-other day – team-building games, shared challenges, mini gastro quiz 🤝🎲
Tuesday 🇮🇹
Morning: Italian day – homemade pasta with 4 different ragù/sauces, cannolo 🍝🍅🧀
Afternoon: Blind smelling & ingredient testing + techniques and tools (mini gastro lab) 👃🧪🔪
Wednesday 🇻🇳
Morning: Vietnam – Pho soup, summer rolls, banana tapioca pudding 🍜🌿🍌
Afternoon: Restaurant visit – Borkonyha / Textúra / Rumour (depending on the selected option) 🍽️🏙️
Thursday 🥔✨
Morning: The many faces of potatoes – from basics to Michelin-level techniques + plating 🥔🔥🎨
Afternoon: External program – escape room / minigolf / selfie museum 🕵️♀️⛳️📸
Friday 🍳☀️
Morning: Best brunch dishes – avocado toast, croque madame, shakshuka, eggs benedict 🥑🥚🥐
Afternoon: Mini mixer workshop – non-alcoholic cocktails, syrups, garnishing 🍹🍓✨
Saturday 🌙🍽️ (Closing dinner evening)
Menu:
- Meat starter: Duck liver brûlée, gooseberries, brioche 🦆🍞
- Vegetarian starter: Charred cauliflower, cashew nuts, citrus fruits 🥦🍊
- Soup: Roasted sweet pepper & tomato soup, goat cheese, buckwheat 🍅🧀
- Meat main: Rib-eye steak, potato pavé 🥩🥔
- Vegetarian main: Ricotta ravioli, brown butter, sage 🍝🌿
- Dessert: Chocolate soufflé, ginger ice cream, raspberry ragout 🍫🍨🍓
Afternoon/evening: Shared preparation, plating, dinner atmosphere, and closing ✨🏁
🕗 Doors open: every day from 8:00 AM
🕔 Pick-up time: between 4:00–5:00 PM
👩🍳 Personal chef equipment
Each participant receives a personalized chef’s jacket and chef’s hat, which are used throughout the camp and can be taken home at the end – a lasting memory of the culinary adventure. 🤍✨
📜 Certificate
At the end of the camp, every child receives an official certificate confirming the completion of the Gastro Kids Camp, presented during a celebratory ceremony. 🎓🎉
🍽️ Closing dinner evening – parents welcome
At the Saturday closing dinner evening, each child may invite 2 parents and 1 sibling free of charge, so we can celebrate the week’s experiences and the prepared dishes together. ❤️✨
